“ Apparently the place changed hands back in 2020 and I hadn't been in since. Fixed that with lunch after a haircut on the other side of the shopping plaza. Starters are new and I really liked the three small dishes they presented. Puréed beets on one end and mashed potato in the middle. Unfortunately, I didn't catch what's on the other end but ate (and enjoyed) it anyway. Sandwich on this visit was beef shawarma. It showed up hot enough to burn my tongue a little bit. Not a complaint, more of an endorsement. Beef had a great flavor and was cooked enough without being overdone. Nice pickled vege continued outside the sandwich, light but garlicky sauce. Really good sandwich! Nikitha took great care of me today! She was showing up with stuff before I had the opportunity to ask. Really appreciate good service! ”
“ Great food, service, ambience. They start you off with a basket of pita and a selection of cold pastes (bean, beet, and garlic potatoes) and all of them are packed with flavor! We ordered chicken shawarma wraps and they were piping hot and delicious. ”
“ Ate here for years while living down the street, just moved and already miss it: All the food is fantastic, you can't miss, service is great, but honestly? First time, just go basic. Chicken shawarma, ask for extra garlic sauce, and don't let any of your friends take your fries. Cozy little local spot, unpretentious, inexpensive, and easily swings well above it's weight. I've spent twice the cost for worse and I have never had a bad meal at Rozanna. Thanks for years of delicious pickled veggies and the best fries in Ballwin. ”
“ Been here a few times and food is stellar. I appreciate that they start you off with a trio of complimentary dips (beet, hummus, black bean). Service was attentive, though they could really use more servers. The ambiance is family friendly. I like the mixed grill for variety and the claypots are good for something different. Worth a visit/return visit. ”
“ First time here. Sat outside as the weather was beautiful. Though it's adjacent to a parking lot, it's very pleasant and peaceful. The server was exceptionally nice and attentive. The food... outstanding. The presentation of everything is 5 out of 5. We had several appetizers. I'd say the Mouhamara was my favorite; full of flavors and very unique. This would bring me back alone! I'm a big Shawarma fan as I ate a lot of this on a Mediterranean trip and find it hard to find comparable quality and taste in the Midwest. This met my expectations! Chock full of flavors in every bite. The mushroom clay pot is a fun meal and similar to the pot pie concept but oh so much better. A nice amount of spice to this dish, without being too spicy for delicate palates. Would get all of these things again! You can't go wrong with anything. Though I loved the cakes, the date cake was my favorite. Very sweet as expected. I would try the baklava next time. Overall this is a big win for me and worth the drive over. Oh, and the portions are plentiful. Had leftovers! Great flavors and great value. Thumbs up!! ”
“ What can I add to this place that hasn't already been said. What a great place. I mean truly, what a great place. I don't know why this place isn't busier other than at peak times, Friday and Saturday during dinner time. There is hardly a soul at lunch and I can only image that Fridays and Saturdays are what are making money enough to keep this place afloat. I wish beyond wish that they had a lunch menu. Their portion sizes are more than adequate and for lunch it's almost too much but you are still paying dinner prices, they only have one menu. As mentioned before then have live entertainment on Fridays. First Friday of the month they have a belly dancer. The other Fridays....I think they have live music? I'm not sure, I never go there at the busy times. The food is amazing. I normally always get the shawarma because they do it right. It's not the 'fast food' version of a shawarma, this is a well put together, not falling everywhere, pressed type of shawarma. I've had other dishes that I can't quite recall at this time but all have been very good. The decor is.....odd. It's a black and white motif and it doesn't really scream Mediterranean. It's sort of a fancy cloth table cloths but covered with plastic, casually stringed up seasonal sort of decor here and there, serving drinks from cans with a glass of ice. I should deduct a star for that in my review. This last paragraph. And I do mean they serve drinks from a can. Cloth table coverings but you get a can of diet coke or a bottle of ice tea. It just doesn't make sense. Anyway, a weird review for you to consider, different than all the others posted, I hope this helps convince you to go and give this place a try, I hope this helps Rozanna maybe think about making a few changes. At least go back to fountain soda. You couldn't have been losing that much more money on that vs cans. Cans are better left for fast food places. (actually even fast food doesn't serve things in cans) cheers! ”
“ First time trying this place and it was good! It was early in the afternoon not busy just a great atmosphere. They give a complimentary trio that's absolutely delicious! My favorite one was the garlic mashed potatoes. The main dish was the grilled plate. I enjoyed the lamb the most but did not care at all for the beef. The hummus was good but not the best. I'm only giving 4 stars because for some reason it took about 10min to get my soda and the restaurant was not busy. Not sure what happened there but that's way to long to wait for a soda. Otherwise a nice place. ”
